Until recently, the
Columbia neighborhood saw few residents,
and was dominated more by Class-A office
buildings and courthouses, encompassing world-class
design.
However, with the addition of residential high rises, the district has become more a neighborhood.

stand, spaced neatly along 655 West Broadway,
five in a row. As you walk amidst them,
the ice within will intrigue you. Each
ice sculpture sits atop a marble pillar,
and is encased in glass, much like the
rose of “Beauty and the Beast.” |
